Open Air Jazz and Klezmer Music Concerts on the Slopes of David's Citadel


Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, June 1-3, from 7.30 p.m. Admission free.

In addition to the international jazz events taking place in the Jerusalem concert halls, the Festival in cooperation with the Alrov Centre will be holding three outdoor performances for the public combining music with Jerusalem's special ambiance. The audience can enjoy the music as well as a wide variety of entertainment. After the concerts, stay in the mood by attending one of the big name jazz concerts at the Jerusalem Theatre, or continue on to the free Payis Jazz Club in the Theatre lobby which begins at 11 p.m. Free parking for up to three hours in the Mamilla Car Park.

Payis Jazz Club
Each evening after the shows, the Festival continues its long-standing tradition of holding jazz concerts in the lobby of the Jerusalem Theatre. The Jazz Club has earned itself a high reputation over the years by hosting the best of local jazz musicians, joined now and then by overseas guests, until the wee hours of the night. Admission free.
